Chemung County Executive Chris Moss signed Executive Order 2020-001 on Jan. 27, 2020 titled “Chemung County Emergency Web-Casting & Open Government Initiative” It requires all public meetings held in county buildings to be live streamed and archived on the county’s website for at least one year.

The County Executive sent a letter to Legislative Chairman Dave Manchester asking him to seek approval from the legislature to begin live streaming all public meetings of the legislative body as well.
