At the January meeting of the Chemung County Legislature, Rodney J. Strange was appointed to serve a four year term on the Chemung County Transit Board.
He was appointed by Legislature Chairman Milliken and approved by the full Legislature. He will serve with Legislator Aola Jackson (D-11th Dist.) as the two represtatives from the Legislature.
They will make recomendations along with other committee members to the County Legislature on issues dealing with the Chemung County Transit System and public transportation issues in the county.
