Chemung County Launches New Property Tax Search System and Video Tutorial

County Treasurer Katlyn Colombani-Ruiz today announced the launch of a new online property tax system, Total Collection Service, along with a step-by-step video tutorial to help residents use the platform.

The new system is now available on the Chemung County website and allows users to:

  • Search property tax records by name, address, or parcel ID
  • View current and delinquent County and Town taxes
  • Access records dating back to 2023
  • Download tax bills and receipts

For the first time, delinquent County and Town taxes are available for public viewing online, improving transparency and access to important property information.

To support the rollout, the Treasurer’s Office has released a four-minute instructional video narrated by Treasurer Colombani-Ruiz. The video walks users through the system and highlights key features.

Residents can access both the system and the tutorial by visiting the Treasurer’s page on the Chemung County website: https://www.chemungcountyny.gov/1031/Property-Tax-Search-Inquiry

“This new system makes it easier for residents to access their property tax information quickly and accurately,” said Treasurer Colombani-Ruiz. “We wanted to provide a simple, user-friendly experience, and the video tutorial ensures that anyone can confidently navigate the platform.”

The launch reflects Chemung County’s continued focus on improving customer service and modernizing access to public records.

Residents are encouraged to explore the new system and utilize the tutorial for guidance.
