Chemung County Legislator Rodney J. Strange was elected Chairman of the Chemung County Republican Committee at a committee meeting on October 29th.
Strange succeeds Michael Krusen as Chairman.
“I have never been more prepared for anything in my life as I am for the position of Chairman,” Strange said as he spoke to the committee members before the vote.
Strange defeated Brad Lytle by a vote of 3736 to 2666 to become Chairman of the Committee.
Strange officially takes office on November 6th.
