Chemung County Executive Chris Moss released the 2023 county budget on Thursday, Nov. 10th. The spending plans is approximately $230 million and calls for a 0% tax increase for the new fiscal year. The County Legislature now will review the proposal over the next few weeks and hopes to approve a new budget by early December.
