Chemung County Treasurer Joseph Sartori presented to the Budget Committee of the Chemung County Legislature his 2012 Year End report at its meeting on April 1st.
Sartori reported the financial position and results of operation for the year ended December 31, 2012. The County ended 2012 with the biggest budget surplus in county history, $29,855,814.
“It is the excellent working relationship between the Executive branch and the Legislative branch that positions our county to be in good financial shape as we face tough economic times,” Legislator Rodney J. Strange said.
