The Chemung County Department of Aging and Long Term Care is available to assist Medicare beneficiaries in understanding and comparing the 2017 Medicare Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Private Health Plans.
Medicare Open Enrollment is October 15 – December 7. This is the time of year when all people with Medicare can make changes to their coverage. Health needs and plans can change from year to year.

If you live in Chemung County and would like assistance comparing and selecting Medicare Prescription Drug Plans or Medicare Private Health Plans, call the Chemung County Department of Aging and Long Term Care at 737-5520 between 8:30 and 4:00 Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment.
Walk-ins cannot be accepted due to high scheduling demands.
